About Me
I’m Persian, and my journey to New York began with a dream: earn my doctorate in Chemical Engineering and become a professor—because teaching has always been my passion.
Along the way, I became certified as a personal trainer, first working with friends and family, then training clients purely out of love for movement. I even stepped on stage for a bodybuilding competition, placing 2nd in the novice category and 3rd overall.
After training at Equinox and completing grad school, I shifted into the fast-paced world of pharmaceutical and biotech consulting, working with C-suite executives.
But that pace came with a cost. Burnout hit hard—physically, mentally, and emotionally. I lost my health, my hope, and my sense of purpose. In my search to heal, I turned back to fitness—but this time, I needed something gentler. That’s when I found Pilates. It helped me reconnect with my body and soul, guiding me through recovery and teaching me the power of mindful movement.
I trained at Gramercy Pilates, one of the most renowned studios in NYC, learning from some of the best teachers in the industry. That’s when it became clear: this was more than a practice—it was my calling. I wanted to bring together movement and mindfulness to help others feel stronger, more connected, and more alive.
Through Lunges & Lattes, my mission is simple: to make wellness accessible, effective, and fun. I want to help you reconnect with your body, protect your health, and find joy in movement—because nothing matters more than your well-being. And if you’d like to linger a little longer, I’d love to get to know you, hear your story, and share a sip of latte. First we lunge, then we latte—because movement fuels the body, and connection fuels the soul.
